Following on from the final of our Concerto Competition, held on Tuesday 15th in West Road Concert Hall, we are delighted to announce the results:

Concerto Competition Winner – Mark Zang (piano)

Concerto Competition Prize-Winner Patrick Pan (piano)

Concerto Competition Prize-Winner Jaqueline Seki (violin)

The three prize winners will each perform a concerto with either the Cambridge University Orchestra or Sinfonia next season. We would also like to congratulate our three other highly commended finalists: Jenny Ryan (oboe), Emily Trubshaw (violin), Daniel Lui (piano).

We would also like to congratulate Ellis Thomas (piano) and George Smith (cello), both of whom were highly commended from the first round.

Thank you to our judges for the final this year: Professor John Rink, Melanie Ragge and Odile Ogganlon, for their expertise and guidance throughout the process. We would also like to thank Andrew West for his judging in the first round alongside Melanie and Odile.
