Orchestral Auditions 2020-21!
Welcome to the CUMS Orchestral Auditions for the Season 2020-21!
We are doing our best to accommodate as many people as we can this year in our orchestras, but numbers are restricted by government and University guidelines and as a result we will not be able to offer as many places as in a ‘normal’ year.
At the moment, we hope that the Cambridge University Orchestra (CUO) will perform in November, as a small chamber ensemble. We are intending to have rehearsals for Cambridge University Sinfonia (CUS) and Cambridge University Wind Orchestra (CUWO) in the latter part of Michaelmas Term. If it is possible, all ensembles will perform in Lent Term; this is what we are working towards, but we are being mindful that our main duty is to keep all of our members safe.
Timeline
Auditions for this year are now closed! If you have any questions, please contact .
We will be in touch on Friday 23 October to let you know whether you have got a place or not! It will take us a little while to watch all the videos, and work out who is suited to which ensemble, but will make sure we get back in touch with you as soon as possible!
